Points list

The game awards points for doing certain things in season mode. These points can be used in the season store to buy new stadiums, legendary players and better player attributes. The point system is as follows:

EA Dream Team

Hold L1 and R1 and press Left, Right, Right, Right, X

Get Cy Young

Start a season and play a game. All you need to pitch a 1 inning game and pitch a shut out and you will get Cy Young as a reward.

Get Babe Ruth

If you win the world series with the red sox you get babe ruth you have to play the game when about to win so say if the series is tied up 3 to 3 play or 3-0 if you win you get him it won't say you unlocked a reward.

Satchel Paige

Throw three consecutive strike outs in season mode to unlock Satchel Paige as a free agent.

Ty Cobb

Hit two triples in one game in season mode to unlock Ty Cobb as a free agent.

Willie McCovey

Hit three consecutive homeruns in season mode to unlock Willie McCovey as a free agent.

Thin players

Hit a homerun with a player that weighs less than 160 pounds.

Large players

Hit a homerun with a player that weighs over 250 pounds.

Pencil head

Strike out six consecutive times when batting in season mode.

Strong arm

Get caught stealing more than twice in one game in season mode.

Big bat

Hit two consecutive homeruns in season mode.

Big baseball

Throw nine consecutive strike outs in season mode.

Flaming baseball

Throw six consecutive strike outs in season mode.

Hidden teams

Win the World Series in season mode. You can continue to play some hidden teams including The World All-Stars, Dominican Republic All-Stars, The Legends, and The Triple Play Team (who have big bats and hit homeruns 95% of the time).

Homerun sounds

While running around the bases after hitting a homerun, press Triangle to hear a soft horn, Square to hear a loud horn, or Circle to hear a whistle.

Mike Schmidt/Jimmie Foxx

Hit 4 Homeruns in one game. The first time I did it I got Foxx, the second time I did it I got Schmidt.
